Nancy Eberts – Eberts Harvesting, Inc.

Today is #internationalwomensday.

How cool is that??? So proud to be a HarvestHER and share what it is we do!

One would think that it is not quite time for harvest but, in reality, we have been working on it for a while. Hiring and working with a crew are a big part of our “start”.

We help individuals obtain a CDL and prep them for so many of the responsibilities (both large and small) that come with harvest.

Safety and TEAM truly are two of the biggest reasons we start the ball rolling in March. In reality, there are crews about to hit the road. Ultimately, someone is harvesting somewhere in the world every day.

Myron is a fifth generation farmer and rancher, as well as, a 39 year harvest veteran.

So, there really isn’t much “down” time unless he’s in the massage chair.

So this is the backyard today. We still have snow piles from the storm I posted awhile back.  We have had weather in the 60’s and, for the last few days, back in the 30’s and much, much wind.

This picture says a lot about what is happening in our neck of the woods, planting equipment taken out of shed and needing to be given some pre season TLC. There is a combine in the background needing some work, notice the bale rack as we are moving some millet hay, grain bins tell you were are moving grain.

Clouds and flag show a cool, windy day.

Mama cows and their babies speckle the corral, fuel being stored up, and again equipment needing a bath.

Josh and Andrew working on some guard rail, both are working on CDL’s in preparation for harvest.

So ladies…stand tall and proud; for each and every one of us make a difference!
