Cloudy and windy is the forecast for today! 25 mph and it simply doesn’t stop.
The mud is clinging to everyone’s boots and the bottoms of their coveralls, thus it’s ending up in the house! So…Yep, it’s SPRING!
Our corral and panel project is coming along nicely. The work is out of the wind but they are still contending with the mud.
Our days are staying brighter longer and the list of things to do is getting bigger and bigger.
Typical March and we keep moving forward.
A year ago we were in the field already.
The calving is moving along as we are over half done.
…and so it goes!
Nancy has been making the custom harvest journey with her husband, Myron, since 1982. In those early years of life on the road, she could be found in the combine or truck - along with any or all of their four children. These days, her time is mostly spent taking care of two campers, walking to the clothesline and back, cooking on the grill, paperwork in the office and windshield time in the cab of a pickup. Whatever it takes to “get ‘er done”! When Myron and Nancy aren't on the road, they call South Heart, North Dakota home.
