Lindsey Orgain – Orgain Farms & Harvesting

Wednesday evening (around 8), my little guy passed out on me while we were waiting to get supper handed out at the field. I felt like a rock star when I successfully transferred him from the pickup to bed!

Thursday, I adjusted my game plan a little. After several days without a nap, I decided to get dinner ready early so we could be back to the camper for a proper bedtime. Naturally, that didn’t work out either. As I’m boxing supper up (around 6), I glance over to Mason to see that he is passed out on the floor.

I sent a text to Jason to let him know that supper would be later than I was aiming for…I have a hard time “waking a sleeping baby.” He calls me a few minutes later to let me know Dixie was on her way over!

I wouldn’t say I know Dixie well at all. I met her last summer when we had our campers set up in her backyard here in McDonald. She is a 30 year veteran HarvestHER. She didn’t hesitate a second to come keep an eye on my sleeping kiddo while I ran supper to the field – and that’s what I love about these women. We all “get it” because we’ve all been there.
