11/30/16 – Colby, Kansas

Lindsey Sterkel

Today was a blustery day in Kansas!

I haven’t updated in a while!

We got to spend some time in Kansas City with our awesome John Deere dealer and his amazing wife. We had such a great time! They truly spoiled us and we are now top golf addicts!

At the KU game with Kelly and Debbie!

Turk and I had an awesome time in Dodge City, KS for Thanksgiving with my family. It’s always my favorite to go back to Dodge for Thanksgiving. We get to see family that we only get to see a couple of times a year and there’s always good food. My mom, grandma and aunt are all like Martha Stewart, The Pioneer Woman, and Trisha Yearwood when they cook, so we were all pretty darn full when we left on Sunday. The guys went pheasant hunting while the girls shopped around town.

My mom and her twin in front of their elementary school!

Some really good prime rib my uncle spoiled us with!

Jim and DeAnn had Thanksgiving in Colby, but sadly not at their home. DeAnn’s poor dad got sick and was in the hospital for Thanksgiving. The hospital staff was very nice and let everyone, including a couple of the guys that are still here and staying the winter, bring the Thanksgiving supper to him. Luckily, he’s home now! I’m hoping for many well wishes to come his way as he gets better.

We’ve been back to the grind and working on getting our company calendar ordered and put together. It’s already being shipped after just ordering it yesterday!

Turk, Callum and Jordan went to pick up the new grain carts in Shell Rock, IA. It’s a new adventure for Turk because he hasn’t picked them up from the factory before! They will be back tomorrow.

I hope everyone is doing well and hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving Holiday with family!
