Amanda Buus Thomsen – BT Harvesting

This morning as I was getting my coffee, I opened the cabinet and saw both of these coffee cups staring at me.  I just kind of stood there, taking them in as the words on both of them ring true. The last couple of days have been stressful and exhausting, and I was just looking forward to my morning pick-me-up.  I briefly contemplated adding a shot of Bailey’s, but since I do need a whole lotta Jesus today, I thought better of it. I’ve been living by Psalm 141:3 lately.

Anyway, I’ve found the most delicious banana bread recipe and thought you all might enjoy it, as well.  I wish I could take credit for it, but I found it while scrolling through Pinterest. I did add chocolate chips though…I just like to be a bit of a rebel like that.

Kylee DeBock – DeBock Harvesting

I am not sure when my last post went out but seems like it’s been awhile since I have written anything.

We spent 26 days harvesting on a farm in Havre, Montana. It was an amazing experience full of fun adventures and memories made while on the Four Wind Farms. But all good things must come to an end. We packed up and moved to Powers Lake, North Dakota which is our last scheduled stop of the year.

Nothing like the feeling of heading “home”

There is nothing like the feeling of heading “home”.  I’m sure you’re thinking… didn’t I read a post about “them” heading to Canada like a month ago??? True, true, yes we did cross the border into Canada on August 1st (our earliest yet in 19 years) and, yes, we’ve been back at Hodgeville to the home farm a time or two to check on “things” but most of our time while being in Canada has been in the Weyburn area. Well TODAY I am bringing my camper (or our summer home) “home” and there is nothing like that feeling!

Heading home August 25, 2017

Kimberly Neumiller – Neumiller Harvesting

Hello everyone!
I see it’s been a while since I have posted. This was an unusual year but we’ve been home since July 15th and finally got to combine a week ago. There was a shortage of acres and we thought it would be best if we just came home and sat until our jobs in North Dakota were ready.

The machines got a little TLC while we were home to make sure they were ready for the next big push! Right now, we have six machines running in the Donnybrook area and one machine running in Watford City. We also have three running around home, finally! We have had quite a bit of rain this past week. We needed the rain, but now that it’s time to go it won’t stop!
