The ceramic chicken represents the chicken breasts that were defrosting in the microwave. š¤£ (I wanted to just say “breasts” but trying to keep it clean, lol.)
This is the first time I made this casserole. I’m pretty sure the name got me! It was liked by the crew, so I will keep it in the recipe file.
After all of these years of being married and on harvest, I never really did make a lot of casseroles, as Myron wasnāt a huge fan. So, now as I am incorporating them, they are all a learning experience for me. I like that they are economical and easy to double and triple. Every little bit of savings adds up. $
Nancy has been making the custom harvest journey with her husband, Myron, since 1982. In those early years of life on the road, she could be found in the combine or truck - along with any or all of their four children. These days, her time is mostly spent taking care of two campers, walking to the clothesline and back, cooking on the grill, paperwork in the office and windshield time in the cab of a pickup. Whatever it takes to āget āer doneā! When Myron and Nancy aren't on the road, they call South Heart, North Dakota home.
