Hi, everyone!

I’m Megan Klinnert, from Klinnert Harvesting in Okarche, OK. My husband, Randall, and I have been married for three years now. We have two kids, Wade (almost two) and Faye (three months).

This will be the seventh harvest that Randall and I have been together and the second time for me to go on the run the entire time. I grew up on a dairy in Okarche so the thought of my kids traveling to more states in their first couple years of life than I did all of my childhood makes me chuckle at times.

I have a few roles on our crew. First, and foremost, is mom then I also become the cook, maid, parts chaser, secretary and equipment mover all while tending to things at our stationary home and working part-time for a local construction company making invoices and keeping up with their accounts receivable. During the winter months we run 45 head of cow/calf pairs and stocker calves on wheat pasture.

I’m so excited to share our journey with you as we move across the Midwest “chasing acres” with our littles in tow. There may be times that this lifestyle of ours can get a little hectic but I wouldn’t change it for anything.
