Hello! My name is Danica Neumiller. I am originally from Northern Minnesota but now I live just South of Bowdon, North Dakota with the rest of the Neumiller Harvesting crew! I married the youngest son of Neumiller Harvesting, Logan, this past July. This will be my fourth summer on the harvest run. Last summer got a little tricky with the wedding so I didn’t go until after, but with the year everyone had, I got a good share of the run in anyway.

When I’m not on the harvest run, I teach elementary school. I have taught in a different area every year, except this fall I get to stay where I am! This will be my second year as the first grade teacher at Fessenden-Bowdon Elementary. The wonderful part about me switching so much is that I taught one nephew (Bentley) when he was in Pre-K and then the next nephew (Kyler) when he got to Pre-K the next year. After that, the first grade position opened so I moved into that roll just in time to teach Bentley again! Now this fall, I get Kyler for the second time, as well. Teaching is my passion during the winter and it’s even better when I get to teach family.

I love harvest season because of all of the memories we make and the people that we meet, from farmers to small town coffee shop owners. No two years are ever the same. I absolutely LOVE to cook and try new recipes on the crew. I love to spend time with family, especially nieces and nephews. I love to help out in the field when I need to, or just go along with Logan for a ride. Usually that backfires, though, and I’m driving so he can take a break! I love every part about harvest season.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Hopefully I get the chance to meet all of the wonderful ladies I have been hearing and reading about!

We would LOVE to hear what you have to say!!
