The Situation

Tonya Land – Jackson County Florida

Flame and smoke rose from the rear of the beast. The soybean dust provided the feast.

The fan bearing split that provided the friction that provided the situation to flame the condition.

On the side of the road was where we would sit, for three days no less to get new parts to fit!

The homeowner was gracious for the sudden intrusion, understanding the situation as an emergent delusion.

Of our thought that just maybe it would just take a day, we really had to be getting on our way.

And three days were fine because one it did take to get the old fan out and a big gouge did it make!

In the radiator of course which poured its life to the ground, right into the top of a big ole ant mound.

Several friends showed up and helped with the labor. Thank God for a boss whom is owed a few favors.

The boss, the friend, the husband.

And after phone calls and parts runs, the new radiator arrived, and the boss lugged it up the ladder with pride.

From noon until dusk we raced the daylight setting new bearings and fan shrouds with bolts we set tight.

At the field we arrived with an escort of trucks, headlights glowing like a long line of ducks.

So The harvest continued thanks to some friends, for what is life worth without someone to depend?
