Hello From Blizzardy, Cold Eastern Nebraska!

The view from where I have been sitting most of the day. 🙂

Good evening!

I’m writing about the problem I mentioned this morning on the Facebook page regarding the wonderful people who took the time to subscribe to this awesome website – YOU! But, you have not been getting email notifications after updates have been posted. I’m hoping I have solved the problem!

IF you were one of the many subscribers that I manually added back to the list this afternoon and evening, you should have received an email from the site confirming that you were now, in fact, a subscriber. And you needed to click on a link to confirm your email. Now…if you accidentally deleted that email thinking it was “junk”, let me know what your email is again – or better yet – just type it in the little box to the right of this post where it says “You won’t want to miss even one update” and we’ll start all over again.

I apologize to those of you who thought you should be receiving email notifications and haven’t – some for quite some time! I think I’m on the right track now…hopefully! Thank you to those couple of people who were persistent in telling me they weren’t receiving them (you know who you are). All along, I was thinking it was a problem on their end (I guess I was wishful thinking). Learning from mistakes is sometimes the best teacher!

Enjoy the rest of the evening and THANK YOU so much for continuing to follow and support this page and the amazing HarvestHERs who have made it what it is! I don’t want you to miss anymore of their updates!

Nancy Eberts – Eberts Harvesting Inc.

It all started with a problem on an air conditioner on our Massey combine in Kiowa. Kansas – almost 40 years ago. From that point on, our friendship simply grew.

With the entire state in double digits below zero (with anywhere from 20 – 30 degrees below zero wind chill factor), today is a good day for soup.

Wow! Where did 2017 go? As I sit here and reflect on the past year, it brings a smile to my face. My family is happy, healthy and we managed to make it though our 14th year on harvest.

That’s a wrap for us…harvest 2017 is in the books! It hasn’t been a long harvest but it’s certainly been an exhausting one this year so it’s very nice to be done before Christmas!
