Last night, I was able to go along with Kaelyn as she did her chores! I couldn’t help but reflect on my chores growing up. I don’t imagine that the five gallon bucket will ever go out of “service”!
Kaelyn’s show heifer, “Sparkles” was a whole lot prettier and bigger than our old dairy cows but watching her handle the responsibility of the proper feed rations, water and hay was amazing.
The future looks bright ladies and gentlemen as this young lady is truly a #FarmHer, #RanchHer and HarvestHER in the making. Hats off to mom, dad and family!
Best thing was…she ENJOYED what she was doing. Pretty easy to see that in her smile and actions. Isn’t that what it’s all about? Doing what you love and loving what you do!
