Nancy Eberts – Eberts Harvesting Inc.

This morning, I made ham and cheese omelets for breakfast.  The days are getting longer and begin before 7 am.

We have a variety of things happening today – from spreading urea to planting wheat to hauling fertilizer and moving seed.  There is always a little yard clean up and maintenance to keep things moving along.

Myron spent the day putting down urea before the wheat was sown.

I made a quick trip to town for a few repairs and groceries and made it home before lunch.
Lunches have become packed lunches as everyone is headed in different directions. I do not pack them…the food is provided and they pack their own. (I do, however, take care of the boss…or should I say boss’s husband 😝)

Mason (in a different field) follows Myron with the wheat seed (which will be harvested this fall).

Mason about to remove one of the most important “tools” of the trade from its protective cover – the California Duster!

Clean windows are always a must!

Tea is made and meat is out for supper (which will be bacon cheeseburgers 🍔). I just need to make a macaroni salad and dessert!

Before I know it, the sun will be setting.

If the fences and corner posts of this land could talk!
Praying that the chances of rain amount to a crop to harvest.

Pretty exciting to see the color green on the North Dakota prairie…even if it is April!

North Dakota flat rocks, if only they’d all line the fences……said every combine operator ever!

Our nephew Jacob from Illinois is working on a few photos we sent him. This is the first! I think they are fantastic! Can’t wait to see the rest……quite the young entrepreneur! I can hook you up!
