Nancy Eberts – Eberts Harvesting Inc.

Yesterday afternoon, we finished what we had to cut in Sherman County and moved to Wallace County. We cut very late and should actually finish today or tomorrow. 73% of Sherman County wheat has been basically hailed on and/or has disease. It is an unbelievably large amount of acres of wheat.
You can see the hail damage to buildings and to the crops (including corn). The test weights are affected, as well…down to 57 lbs and below.

Field of hailed wheat.

We are thankful for what we do have to do.

Things back at home in North Dakota are looking a bit gloomy as well. The predicted heat will definitely make an impact next week on an already drought-stricken area.
