The last day of March 2017 was very memorable and really pretty cool at only around 46 degrees.

It actually stayed partly cloudy for most of the day .
The guys kept busy with trucking and working on one of the drills (field ready), as well as tending to cattle.  We are getting closer and closer to being finished with that.

Mason was even able to get along in the field while spreading Urea. Can’t believe it’s that time of year already (planting) but, truthfully, a year ago we already had two weeks in. Things just are not going to slow down any time soon.

We’re also hauling loads of barley to the Busch Agricultural Resources, LLC in Sidney, Montana for one of our customers. Thanks to Dylan for snapping these photos on his way to Montana.

Busch Agricultural Resources, LLC…one bin holds 250,000 bushels of barley!

The two best parts of day, however, were first getting a visit from Marv, Mel, Madelyn and Mack. Grand kids visiting means everything when you know you’re leaving for a couple of months soon.

Before the  rain shower, Papa, the kiddos and dad went for a ranger ride – to check the cattle.

We enjoyed fish on the grill, as well as a double batch of One Step Mac & Cheese for supper .

After supper, Papa and Madelyn were able to get in a game of Old Maid and then we were fortunate to be able to help Mack take some BIG steps.  It won’t be long until he’s running around. As it turned out, a little Honey Nut Cheerio incentive worked out pretty well. 😆❤️

It’s moments like these when you count your blessings!  How great to be a part of such a BIG moment.

The second best part of the day (which was after 9pm) was when Myron and I, while sitting in our easy chairs, saw an “invite” on Facebook for a birthday celebration for Emily and Alex! Our baby and her hubby have the same birthday…TODAY! So imagine their surprise when two old coots showed up at the bar for a beer! Without a doubt, we were the senior citizens there, but enjoyed it immensely! My baby ain’t no baby anymore and  is really pretty amazing…not to mention the fact that she has a wonderful hubby!😉 We stayed for one, got a couple of hugs (took a photo for proof) and headed home .

Emily turned 25 and Alex turned 26 today.

Life is full and life is good!
