Hello everyone!
I see it’s been a while since I have posted. This was an unusual year but we’ve been home since July 15th and finally got to combine a week ago. There was a shortage of acres and we thought it would be best if we just came home and sat until our jobs in North Dakota were ready.

The machines got a little TLC while we were home to make sure they were ready for the next big push! Right now, we have six machines running in the Donnybrook area and one machine running in Watford City. We also have three running around home, finally! We have had quite a bit of rain this past week. We needed the rain, but now that it’s time to go it won’t stop!

Since we got home so early, we had to figure out some things for the guys to do! We finished landscaping my yard, got rid of all the dead trees, went to the lake a couple of times, had family time, went to the state fair and relaxed for a little while, but now things are in full swing and it’s going to get a little hectic!

Bentley starts school this week, so I get to stay home for a little while until we are needed somewhere else! It’s crazy that he gets to go to school two days a week already, and next year he goes everyday!

Payzlee keeps me on my toes. As Mychal says, “She’s a little spitfire!”

I’m starting to have mixed emotions while being at home and everybody being on the road, but I have to learn this is my life now and my kids come first.
