BT Harvesting

We got a decent rain last night, and we were 250 acres away from being done! 😩

So, today we enjoyed homemade cherry rolls from a wonderful little store in Sawyer, ran a few errands and cleaned out the pickup. It desperately needed it!

Just to be sure, we went and sampled the field around 6. Moisture on the combine showed 15.5. We collected a sample to take to the elevator to double check, but all the area elevators were closed. Guess no one else was able to run.

We need the wheat to dry down a bit more, so this is probably the only time I’ll be thankful it’s supposed to be windy tomorrow! 🌬
Hoping to get finished up here soon!
