Rigatoni Dish

I asked Iona for her recipe for tonight’s meal and this is what she said:

“Hey yeah, of course, although it’s so easy, I almost feel embarrassed”.

Ingredients

  • one large onion, diced
  • 5 lbs ground beef
  • 2 cups frozen peas
  • 3 cups frozen sweet corn
  • 1 large jar of Ragu spaghetti sauce (not sure of size)
  • 1 lb rigatoni pasta
  • ever so much grated cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350°.
  2. Cook pasta as normal.
  3. Cook beef and onion in skillet til brown. Drain. Add sauce and veggies.
  4. Heat until sauce is boiling then transfer to dish. Gently mix in pasta. Cover with foil and put in oven for 15 mins. Uncover and sprinkle with grated cheddar cheese. Put back in oven uncovered for 10 mins or until cheese has melted and sauce is bubbling.
